June Stationery Haul

I won’t lie, I love stationery! I always have done, always will. Since I now have my own workspace, I needed some new bits so I decided to treat myself to a Stationery Haul

Stationery Haul

I have been managing to make time for being more creative. Not as much as I would like, but it is a start. I finally started a Bullet Journal, I am overcoming the OCD kicking in when I have smudged a line and persevering on. I am really enjoying this, and taking my time to come up with new pages. A few weeks ago I was poorly with strep throat recently and was watching YouTube tutorials of people colouring in,and this really inspired me to get using my pencils. I will show my Bullet Journal progress in a future post.

I was like a kid at Xmas when this bundle of stationery gold arrived. So here is what I purchased:

  • PrismaColor Premier Pencils
  • PrismaColor Blender Pencils
  • Pastel Highlighters -Thin and Thick
  • Fine Liners
  • Staedler Pencils
  • Ruler
  • Pencils
  • To Do Journals
  • Doodle Plain Book
  • Micron Pens

I purchased a green and pink ‘To Do Journal’. Both in A5, I had a pocket size To Do Journal for work and found this so helpful. I carry these back and forth. I decided as busier that I needed to up size to an A5 pink journal. Then as I am on an organising mission, I have a green one for home and blog use only.

I currently own a set of Faber Castell pencils and love these, but even from my set of 120 pencils, there is minimal for skin tones. I purchased a medium set of PrismaColor Premier pencils for the other colour tones. I am so impressed with the blending qualities of the PrismaColor pencils that a bigger set are certainly going on my xmas list.

The other colour pencils and fine liners are for my bullet journal. These are so I can carry them round in my bag incase have some spare time at lunch for journalling.  I also purchased another sketchbook as I obviously don’t have enough. The paper in this book is thick and excellent quality and great for carrying around.

Whilst stalking fellow Bullet Journal enthusiasts, I noticed everyone uses Micron pens for lines and doodles. I love these, they are excellent for drawing.

Have you recently had a shopping haul?
